WE CONDEMN THE NEW WAVE OF ARREST,

EXECUTION AND TORTURE

As if it were a wounded snake, the Islamic Republic, for some time, has been responding even to the smallest objections with the greatest punishments. The ethnic groups in Iran have been under great oppression of the regime in a way that has not been witnessed up to now. The wave of arrest and execution in Baluchistan, Turkmensahra, Azerbaijan, Ahvaz and other regions has never been so acute.

More than 700 Baluchi prisoners are at the brink of execution. Due to their rightful demands, 30 persons from the Turkmens of Gonbad-e Kavoos have been sentenced to imprisonments, punishments of whip and fines in cash. 300 Arab intellectuals have been arrested in Ahvaz. Reporting is available that Seyyed Javad Mosevi (one of the members of the Azerbaijani National Awakening Movement) has been submitted to the Islamic by the Republic of Azerbaijan and Hoseyn Farhudeh, the Azerbaijani activist has been executed under the charge of spying. A few months ago 6 persons from Turkmensahra have been arrested by the regime under the charge of spying and no slightest news has been heard from them.

Since the disruptive Ahmadinejad Government has come to power, oppressions, threats, arrests and executions have stepped up. Turk-Turkmen, Baluchi, Arab and other strugglers are sentenced without trial, defense and solicitors with unfounded accusations by the Islamic Republic. The Islamic Republic regime threatens the regional countries and retakes many activists which are the advocates of national law and sentences them to the heaviest punishments.

The events such as the extradition of Seyyed Javad Mosevi by the Republic of Azerbaijan and asking Syria for the extradition of many Arab activists who have been sentenced to execution in Iran result from the fact that Islamic Republic intends to remove the rights and their voice asking for rights of the nations under the persecution of the Islamic Republic.

It is apparent that the recent events have been carried out to cut out the voices of the Turkmens, Azerbaijani Turks, Arabs, Baluchis and other nations. The Islamic Republic has adopted a dangerous method to create environment of terror and horror among the strugglers. However, those struggling for rights will never fear this.

As a result of these actions of the regime, the nations under persecution will form a unity and their determination to ask for rights will increase further and they will take more determined steps. Those nations ask the organizations which talk about human rights to condemn this barbaric behavior of the regime and prevent it from carrying on with its murders.

Turkmensahra Liberation Organization announces the uneasiness felt by those nations due to this extreme oppression and asks all the nations under oppression to destroy the insidious plans of the regime as a single heart and to take more determined steps for the goal.
